New Clients: We're getting married!
I'm happy to report Swingin' Dolly was accepted to be 'Day of' coordinator for a lovely couple's upcoming wedding! Right in my element, the theme of the wedding is Vintage Rustic and being held at a historic site that is LOADED with Victorian homes. Taking advantage of the California sun, the happy couple will exchange vows in the sunshine and then dance the night away under the stars.
The bride is extremely resourceful and creative. She's even completing the floral arrangements herself. The event's colors, Slate, Ivory and soft pinks, only compliment the historic site - tying in event and the Victorian homes - creating a one-of-a-kind event.
Planning a wedding is no small task, but with the groom deployed for most of the engagement, the bride took on the enormous task herself, and planned every detail, exactly how she wants it.
That's where I come in. I make sure everything runs according to plan. If I do my job right, the bride will wonder what I did the whole time. :D If she leaves her wedding happy, I did my job.
Sunday is the venue walk-through and then the rehearsal is 2 weeks after that. It's coming up fast and stress is high. I will post pictures of the venue once we get back from the walk-through.
